Analysing different problems in the environment (in the end we explored some) we decided to stuck to the playground-conflict. That means that the parents and their children are frighten or annoyed by the local teenagers who hang out there during the night time or after school. First we thought about making a seperate timetable for the families and the young generation but finally it wouldn’t had changed the situation but only covered. So we tried to make the playground more “interactive” e.g. we created a kind of game throwing away waste thus it shouldn’t be anymore waste around from the teenagers which could harm the small children. 2 quick other ideas were a space where all “children” could express themselves freely and a long line where everybody could look for its height and jump as high as possible. In the end we tried to find some way to connect the life of the different generations and make it more tolerant for everybody.
Healthy Living & Neighbourhood
April 11, 2010The fotos representing a kind of documentation of our first research day. First we started to make interviews to the local people on the street to get an overview how the present situation between the neighbours is. Then we started to go into the shops ( sun bathing, yoga, hair cutter) to ask the owners about their opinion. After the break we tried to get into the flats and explore the people who don’t go out that often. Is it a diffrent point of view as the people on the streets? Not really everybody seemed to be very sadisfied and happy. Now the problem was, if everybody is soo pleased, there could we do a positive change?

Budapest in 2025
March 21, 2010As a warming-up exercise, the first day we had to imagine how life in Budapest will look like in 15 years…
With Peter, we imagined that in 5 years nothing will change…but then a huge oil-field will be discovered under the Parlament. (Of course the Parlament will be sold.)
The Pest side of the city will be converted into an industrial zone, the Buda side – becouse of the thermal waters – will serve as a wellness zone. The old, historical City will be moved to Szentendre.
The only “important” decision made by the Government will be the DOG TAX.

My health
March 19, 2010Through day 3 our topic healthy living for ME transformed to healthy living for an „OLD FOX”. Here you can take a good look at Mr. Fox:
During the afternoon we came up with a few concepts trying to create, or improve the interaction between our character and other inhabitants of the neighbourhood.
My family
March 18, 2010Today’s process: first we presented each other the stories and conclusions we have found yesterday in Budaörs. The next step was to make a list of possibly-typical characters in this area. After this all the groups chose one character, and we tried to make up some future scenarios and situations involving them.
